Solar Graph

Hi,

Has anybody created a grah that shows actual total solar output per month in W/m2 or KW/m2 againt total possible or indeed just the 1st half?

i measure the sun with modived temperatur sensor too..

Could you do anything with the idea of using one of the average values that Meteoplug provides and then multiplying that by an appropriate factor, e.g. a variation on the sort of thing described in viewtopic.php?f=9&t=48#p254?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I do not own an average, but the hours per day count.
how many hours per day over 120Watt have and how many hours over 250watts.

Stacked graphs are line graphs that are drawn on top of another graph. This is like graphically adding values. Stacked graphs are useful, when you want to compare values with each other and if you want to see how much each line contributes to the total. This graph sorts days of a month into SUN zones according to their maximum outdoor SUN Watt/h.

Ah. I see what you mean now.

By coincidence I'm developing a stacked chart myself at the moment for a different purpose (heating degree days). I started off by copying Boris's definition, then gradually adapted it.

I don't have a solar sensor but I imagine that for your purpose the main change to the definition (aside from the sensor ID's of course) would be to the sdaycount parts, replacing tempmax with the equivalent for your sensor and the threshold values.

Have you tried doing something like that?
