Meteoplug Maps

Post by admin » Sun Jul 18, 2010 3:10 pm

By using Googles map API I added a new chart type to Meteoplug, called "map". This allows you to display a Google Map takeout with Meteoplug users plotted as markers there. Only Meteoplug users who have defined a map name on their settings page will be listed. So everyone can decide if he wants to be spotted there. With an "mouse over" event some basic data of your weather station is displayed on the right information window. You can change what is displayed there to your needs by deriving your own map definition from predefined definition "_map".

You find more info in the Gallery (http://wiki.meteoplug.com/Gallery#Maps) and even more details how to adapt that to your needs in the chart definition section (http://wiki.meteoplug.com/Define_Chart#Maps_2).

when you give your station a map name on the settings page of your Meteohub/Meteoplug and upload data to Meteoplug, then your station will appear on the map. There is nothing more you have to do.

I send data to meteo meteohub plug.
Meteohub is the setting in 10 minutes, set in meteopug I wholeheartedly embodied no place insert name and time the upload is also fixed.

What am I doing wrong?

The 'maps' graph is really fantastic, I wonder if there are more registered users in the UK that could use it..... hope so but how do we let them know if they do not read the forums???

Hey  I find the map very beautiful.

On the right side of the page you can see the most important data are summarized.

My question: I have several temperature sensors at my weather station.
Meteoplug Map now does not use my "correct temperature sensor".

How can I select which temperature-sensor uses in the map.

PS: I would not create my own maps user group ..

greetings
