Some numbers around the Meteoplug Cloud Service

Post by admin » Mon Apr 06, 2015 10:46 pm

Some data to give you an impression what Meteoplug cloud services are currently doing:

1) Meteoplug cloud service has 7,665,414,681 records of raw sensor data stored. That is over 7 billion data sets!

2) From that it derives on the fly (while storing raw data) aggregated data for time buckets
down to 5 minute resolution. These sum up to another 4 billion data sets storing
min/max/average values for all your sensors at defined time buckets.

3) Meteoplug server has a SSD database consuming 1.4 TB of data stored on SSDs for rapid access.

Rather impressive numbers and it keeps growing ;-)

Really impressive numbers, indeed. Congratulations to the success of the Meteoplug Service! It's an awesome service that allows me to very easily have all my weather data in the Internet available to me and everybody else.
Are there any numbers on active Meteoplug licenses that you would like to publish here?
