Mark Interactive Graph sensor as disabled by default?

When displaying amcharts interactive graphs it's possible to disable/hide data for individual sensors by clicking on that sensor in the legend. A second click on the legend re-enables the sensor.
Might it be possible to have a configuration setting for a sensor to be disabled by default? i.e. not shown when the chart is loaded or refreshed, but visible if desired by using the usual legend clicking mechanism?
The use I have in mind is with some charts that I have that plot temperatures at various points around the house. A small number of the sensors are nearly always of interest, but interest in the others varies depending on a number of factors (e.g. current weather (esp. v. hot or v. cold), is the heating on, has someone just had a shower, etc.,). With all sensors visible the chart is quite crowded so I often disable some of the more obscure sensors to make things clearer. It would be nice if a selection of the less used sensors could be set to default to being disabled.
