why dont you change the chart definition to use an alternative picture you are providing on your own web space.

You used a wrong syntax. The "[month1_th*_temp]" thing is for placing values into templates not for defining graphs.

In a graph all data has to use the same time resolution, so there is AFAIK no way to insert lines refelecting data from different time scales.

When using static graphs via gnuplot, you can do that with a special format string as with Meteohub. For flash charts based on amcharts.com tool box, you can change the names of months and days (monlist, daylist), which should solve most of your request.
